With an EMT contract, your job is to work as a paramedic or emergency medical technician for a specific period. You usually work 13 weeks with each employer, but some areas may ask to renew your contract. The main aspect of this service is providing help and support to an understaffed area as they search for a full-time employee. As an EMT, you may provide the first response when someone is injured, provide first-aid or other treatment to a patient, and help to determine the extent of their injuries so hospitals or other care facilities can be as prepared as possible to receive the patient. This job frequently involves traveling to new areas and may require working nights, weekends, or holidays.

Compensation:New hires for this position typically start between $28.08 and $35.10 hourly, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. What you'll do
The EMT Supervisor is responsible for providing quality health care services to all residents including emergency medical treatments, initial and detailed assessments, medication delivery, medical documentation and life sustaining interventions. The EMT Supervisor oversees all shift activity within the program, including resident safety, resident movement, and programming. This position supports the Transition Services of Pioneer Human Services by performing direct patient service, administrative tasks and supervision to Diversion EMT’s to support the provision of quality and cost effective medical services to behavioral health clients.
