Title: Project Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
Hire Type: Embedded / Contract
Pay: $65–$68/HR

Sterling Engineering is looking for a Project Manager to support energy and natural gas infrastructure projects in Naperville, IL. This role will work closely with clients, designers, contractors, inspectors, and other project stakeholders to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet delivery milestones.

Job Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee project execution for gas pipeline and facility projects, coordinating project teams and stakeholders while managing schedules, milestones, and overall project delivery.

Job Duties:
  • Manage gas pipeline and facility projects from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate daily with clients, designers, stakeholders, contractors, and inspectors.
  • Monitor and expedite project schedules and delivery milestones.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Communicate project updates, issues, and progress to key stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges and potential schedule delays.
  • Support overall project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience within the energy and natural gas sectors.
  • Experience with pipeline construction and/or integrity management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
