As an embedded software engineer, you know how to create and maintain crucial pieces of software. You use your knowledge to write and optimize code that creates a bridge between pieces of software, allowing them to communicate. We’re looking for an embedded software engineer like you to develop technology for our clients’ most important mission-forward challenges.  

As an embedded software engineer at EverWatch, you’ll support the development of systems, sites, and tools for our clients. Using the latest tools and technology, you’ll write, test, and edit code in support of the team’s overall results. You’ll strengthen your skills as you develop and reverse engineer software that supports hardware functionality on a wide range of devices, as well as configure solutions based on the platform being used. You’ll partner with team leadership to troubleshoot and correct operational issues, as well as with cybersecurity specialists to ensure that the software you’re creating is secure.

You Have: 

  • 6+ years of Software development experience using C++ and Java
  • 6+ years of Software System Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, and/or Testing
  • Experience with Python development
  • Experience with pytest
  • Ability to create automated tests
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree 
     

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience in Software development experience using C
  • Experience with GIT repository, Maven, & Bamboo
  • Experience with Jenkins Scripting
  • Experience with Java GUI programming
  • Experience with XML and XLST
  • Unit test development experience using CppUnit, GMock, pytest or other similar software test frameworks

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

 

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55.28 to $80.00 per hour.  The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees
