The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Design Engineer design to join our team. The Electrical Design Engineer will design and ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory requirements such as Mil-STD-810 or RTCA DO-160. The Electrical Design Engineer should be cross functional and capable of performing design and manufacturing definition along with conducting tests in support of project goals.

This position is 100% on-site. 

The Electrical Design Engineer responsibilities include:

  • Design by Schematic capture, simulation, analysis, and layout of electronic devices such as:
    • DC to DC converters, motor drivers, sensors, generator control units, and power filters.
  • Review of designs created by others
  • Testing of electronic devices to commercial or military standards
  • Collaboration and troubleshooting of design issues
  • Documentation of design issues, solutions, test plans and reports

Qualifications

  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of industry experience working with or consulting on electrical design
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
