Senior Network Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Pascagoula, MS (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $68.50/hr on W2
Duration: 3+ Months Contract-to-Hire
 
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, onsite Senior Network Engineer / Architect to design, manage, and oversee a large-scale, multi-campus network infrastructure supporting 10,000+ clients. In this role, you will ensure the availability, reliability, and security of core Data, Voice, and Video network services while providing technical leadership to engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Architecture & Delivery: Design, implement, and maintain highly available LAN, MAN, WAN, and campus network infrastructures.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage critical infrastructure including Cisco systems, DNS/DHCP, security devices, and wireless solutions.
  • Lifecycle & Capacity: Oversee hardware/software lifecycle management, upgrades, refreshes, and long-term capacity planning.
  • Operations & Leadership: Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for mission-critical systems; mentor junior network engineers.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop comprehensive network documentation and business continuity/disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years of enterprise-level networking experience.
  • Technical Mastery: Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies and advanced knowledge of core protocols (TCP/IP, QoS, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS).
  • Tools: Proficiency with network analysis tools like Wireshark and Fluke.
  • Certifications: Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP or higher) are strongly preferred.
  • Environment: Comfortable working onsite in an industrial/campus network environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience deploying or managing Cisco ISE and Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
  • Strong background in enterprise-scale Voice and Video infrastructure alongside standard Data networks.
