Job Title: Software Developer III
Location: BLOOMFIELD, CT 06002
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $86/hr on W2
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with experience in MS .net IDE, RDBMS, CAD platforms , Microsoft Power BI to join our development team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that integrate with CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Zuken E3. This role requires strong programming skills, familiarity with SDK APIs, and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain software applications/auto scripts that interface with AutoCAD and Zuken e3 platforms
• Develop and maintain SQL Database solutions
• Design and develop Power BI reports/dashboards based on business requirements.
• Build and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop including Power Query and DAX.
• Power BI: Integrate data from multiple sources including but not limited to SQL Server, Oracle DB, JSON, Excel, etc.
• Design and develop Microsoft Power Platform solutions including but not limited to Power Automate, Power Apps.
• Participate in version upgrades, deployments, and post-deployment support.
• Help migration from existing Excel VBA to .net
• Help migration from legacy MS Access DB to SQL Server DB
• Ensure compliance with software validation and configuration management standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
 
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
 
Technical Skills:
Must Have:

• 3+ Years experience in Power BI
• 5-7 years software development
• Experience with databases, especially RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0
• Proficiency in programming languages such as VB.NET/C#, Python, etc.
 
Nice To Have:
• Batch Scripts
• Experience with any CAD APIs such as Zuken E3 SDK APIs, AutoCAD APIs,
• Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouse
• Experience with Web Services (both server and client sides)
• Power Automate, Power Apps
• Prior Experience or knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering disciplines
• SaaS BI tools such as PowerBI, Sigma, Tableau
