JOB SUMMARY:
The Commercial Fleet team at 7-Eleven manages a diverse portfolio of fleet payments and programs leveraged to drive B2B traffic to our network of over 8,000 retail fuel locations. The team also manages the 7FLEET Diesel Network, a collection of nearly 500 7-Eleven®, Speedway® and Stripes® stores meeting the needs of professional truck drivers in 26 states. The Regional Sales Manager role is a field position responsible for growing fuel sales in the fleet and trucking industry across our portfolio of payments and fuel locations. This role will support the strategic purpose of the Commercial Fleet team by driving traffic through profitable gallon growth and commercial customer incentives that build loyalty.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Responsible for soliciting new fleet customers, primarily national and large regional accounts, as well as potential partners in the fleet and/or trucking industry
  • Negotiates terms and conditions of agreements and contracts pertaining to competitive discounts with consideration to all variables of fuel cost structures
  • Maintains personal contact with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Gather customer and industry intel to propose and support strategic business decisions
  • Tracks personal results on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as set by their manager
  • Ensures that all sales activities, contracts, discount information and other relevant information that impacts Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are maintained in Salesforce
  • Passion for our customers with an enthusiasm to drive sales by offering holistic business solutions that increase loyalty
  • Collaborate with Fleet Sales Enablement team to ensure that we are maximizing value while driving gallon growth and foot traffic
  • Presents deal proposals in a clear and concise manner that is easy to share and digest across multiple business partners and varying levels of Management
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to support the development and growth of one of the largest diesel networks in the country
  • Maintains close working relationship with Field Operations Team to communicate fleet sales strategy, identify growth potential, and report on fleet sales results for specific commercial diesel sites
  • Stays abreast of industry competition to maintain our industry leader position on product offerings and pricing strategies
  • Attends various industry trade shows and conventions to promote the 7FLEET commercial fueling programs
  • Utilize data analytics to optimize value and support the go-to-market sales strategy in a clear and concise manner that quickly promotes consensus among the team
