Responsibilities
  • identifying, negotiating and managing pharmaceutical contracts
  • driving rebate revenue opportunities for medical and/or pharmacy drugs
  • managing profitable business relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers
  • identifying and obtaining new medical drug contracts
  • reviewing and analyzing complex medical drug claims
  • partnering with internal rebate operations teams
  • collaborating with finance, analytics, pharmacy, and policy teams
  • participating in discussions and negotiations with pharmaceutical manufacturers
  • supporting issue resolution related to rebate discrepancies
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • minimum of 8 years contract negotiation and sales experience
  • strong knowledge of medical drugs, specialty pharmaceuticals, rebate contracting
  • experience working within a PBM, health plan, or pharmaceutical manufacturer environment
  • advanced analytical and financial skills
  • experience utilizing large medical and pharmacy claims datasets
  • experience supporting rebate operations including contract negotiation, invoicing, collections reconciliation
  • intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
