Laboratory Technician (Contract & Direct Hire)

Location: Ravenswood – Chicago, IL
Pay: $20–$30/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory experience who enjoys hands-on testing, analyzing results, and contributing to the development of new medical devices.
Responsibilities
  • Perform testing and evaluation of medical devices using laboratory and analytical equipment.
  • Analyze samples and interpret test data to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Accurately document test procedures, results, and observations.
  • Support product development by assisting with validation and new testing methods.
  • Maintain laboratory organization, cleanliness, and equipment readiness.
  • Monitor laboratory supplies and consumables.
  • Report testing deviations or out-of-specification (OOS) results and assist with investigations.
  • Follow laboratory best practices and quality procedures.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment performing testing and sample analysis.
  • Experience with medical devices, laboratory equipment, or other regulated products preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced product development environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline is preferred but equivalent laboratory experience will also be considered.
