The successful candidate will join our Power Systems team in a Research and Development capacity, supporting the evolution of our software capabilities and new product development in automated power system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement dynamic models for BESS.

Transform data models and algorithms into software, conducting simulation tests to evaluate effectiveness.

Collaborate with the hardware testing team to refine battery system modeling.

Conduct grid code compliance studies.

Enhance internal models and tools to facilitate faster product development.

Document improvements to algorithms and models, explaining the structure and rationale behind new methods.

Adapt to additional tasks outside the defined job scope as needed in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles.

Experience in modeling inverter-based resources.

Familiarity with modeling tools such as PSCAD and DIgSILENT.
