Job description

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Lyons, NY surrounding area.

Salary: $62,400 - $72,800

If you are a diesel mechanic who knows your way around trucks and hydraulics, this could be a solid fit. This is a steady shop where your skills are respected, hours are consistent, and overtime is always there if you want it. Job Responsibilities:
  • Repair & maintain diesel trucks/heavy duty fleet vehicles
  • Work on trash trucks, roll off trucks, and flatbeds
  • Diagnose problems using tools and equipment
  • Fix brakes, engines, steering, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform routine PMs & inspections
  • Keep simple service records

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • At least 1 to 2+ years' Diesel mechanic experience on medium or heavy trucks
  • Hydraulic system experience required
  • Own your own tools. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)
