Duration: 12-Month Contract

Overview

We are seeking an Agile Product Owner / Agile Coordinator to support software development initiatives by managing work intake, maintaining Azure DevOps backlogs, supporting Agile planning, and providing reporting and visibility into program progress. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating cross-functional teams and keeping projects organized and moving forward.

Responsibilities

  • Manage feature request intake and ensure work is properly tracked in Azure DevOps (AzDO).
  • Maintain backlogs, user stories, and work items while partnering with Product Managers, Architects, and engineering teams.
  • Support Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, and PI Planning activities.
  • Create and maintain metrics, dashboards, and scorecards using Power BI, Excel, and Azure DevOps.
  • Track project progress, communicate updates, and follow up with stakeholders to keep initiatives on schedule.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on program health and delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience supporting Agile software development teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (AzDO), including backlog management, user stories, boards, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps Server (TFS/VSTS), or similar Agile tools.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience supporting engineering, product development, or New Product Introduction (NPI) teams.
