Job Title: Salesforce DevOps Engineer - Gearset
Locations: Dallas, Texas
Employment Type: Long Term Contract (Hybrid)
 
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our Salesforce DevOps ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce platform expertise and hands-on experience managing deployments, releases, code, configuration, and environments across multiple Salesforce instances. This role requires a collaborative professional who can work effectively within Agile teams, drive best practices, and influence technical decisions while ensuring the stability and reliability of Salesforce delivery processes.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute Salesforce application deployments across multiple environments.
  • Support release management processes, including planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution.
  • Maintain Salesforce environments, including sandbox strategy, refreshes, and configuration management.
  • Implement and support DevOps best practices for Salesforce development and deployment.
  • Collaborate with developers, administrators, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful releases.
  • Troubleshoot deployment and environment-related issues and drive resolution.
  • Maintain version control and code management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with change management and governance standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Continuously improve deployment automation, release efficiency, and environment stability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience managing Salesforce deployments, releases, and environment strategies.
