Mission of role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Cost Analyst & MRP Planner to oversee timely and accurate cost submittals, support revenue capture, and drive accurate demand forecasting within the MRP system.

This role partners with supply chain, finance, suppliers, and airline customers to maintain pricing accuracy, monitor submitted costs, support accrued revenue analysis, and build the data structures needed for reliable planning.

You’ll also help forecast demand, maintain master pricing data, and perform ad hoc analyses that support leadership decision-making.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control complete, accurate, and timely cost submittals for airline customers.
  • Control RFQ requests to suppliers and analyze ingredient, labor, overhead, and margin inputs for pricing accuracy.
  • Maintain supplier cost structures, customer contracts, and awarded pricing within Scorpio.
  • Maintain master price lists and validate submitted prices against airline system reports to ensure correct pricing, effective dates, and payment setup.
  • Track submitted costs, approvals, and zero-cost exceptions; publish monthly status reporting for outstanding items.
  • Support accrued revenue, substitution impact, P&L, and other ad hoc analyses for leadership and assigned customers.
  • Build crew and special meal structures in Scorpio to support demand forecasting and planning.
  • Run MRP to forecast demand and set orders while developing a strong understanding of airline data structures, packets, policies, and variations.
  • Attend customer menu presentations as needed to ensure specifications are accurate and priced appropriately.


Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • Three or more years of supply chain management experience or equivalent experience.
  • Food service industry experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of purchasing cycles, sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and material requirements planning.
  • Strong understanding of demand planning, safety stock, order quantities, storage requirements, and MRP-driven scheduling.
  • APICS CPIM certification is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a highly analytical, detail-oriented working style.
