Senior Databricks Architect
Location: Remote
Role Type: Long Term Contract
Role Overview
Ripple is introducing Databricks as a core component of its treasury data platform and seeks a Senior Architect to design, lead, and implement Databricks pipelines. This role will set the strategic direction for Databricks, ensuring the platform supports critical functions such as cash management, liquidity, forecasting, and payments. The architect will be both a hands-on contributor and a leader guiding developers in building and stabilizing the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement Databricks pipelines to support enterprise data platform.
  • Define frameworks, clustering strategies, and platform capabilities to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Lead and mentor development teams, providing technical direction and best practices.
  • Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Advocate for outcomes and act as a strong consultant to drive adoption and success.
