Temporary position for 12 months.


The Cybersecurity Monitoring Ecosystem Department is currently looking for a data engineering and big data warehousing advisor. Our team is made up of experts at processing the large volumes of sensitive and confidential data required for cybersecurity. Your role consists in contributing to the implementation and maintenance of the security data lake, which is the authoritative source for every team in Desjardins's Information Security Division. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Develop scripts and automation to ingest data into the consumption zone and to transform and valorize data for the consumption zone
  • Develop API call modules to support data governance and documentation activities
  • Develop automated modules to support data quality control activities and appropriate corrective measures.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience with Azure tools: Azure Databricks, FunctionApp, LogicApp, SQL
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Azure Databricks certification or demonstrated equivalent in ETL
  • Intermediate or advanced experience in one or more of the following languages: PySpark, Python, Java or C#
  • Intermediate or advanced experience in SQL
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Knowledge of one of the following storage tools: Storage Account, SQL Server or Databricks
