Job Title: MDM data analyst

Location: Chicago, Illinois (Onsite-Hybrid)

Mode of Hire: Contract

Job Description:

A senior Data Analyst with approximately 70% technical expertise (SQL, Python, Data Analysis, Data Lineage) and 30% business acumen, capable of independently engaging with business stakeholders, understanding requirements, investigating data issues, and providing data-driven solutions in a banking environment.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (advanced querying, joins, performance optimization, data analysis).
  • Good working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, and API/data integration.
  • Experience in Data Analysis, Data Validation, and Data Investigation.
  • Strong understanding of Data Lineage, Root Cause Analysis, and Impact Analysis.
  • Experience working with Oracle Databases.
  • Good understanding of ETL concepts and data integration processes.
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.
  • Exposure to IBM MDM or similar MDM platforms.

Domain Experience

  • Banking and Financial Services experience is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to Client Master, Customer Master, Account Master, Product Master, or Reference Data domains.
