Job Description:
Technical Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Technical Data Analyst to support enterprise data quality, migration, and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience assessing, profiling, cleansing, validating, and transforming large datasets while developing reporting and integration solutions to support business and technical teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or data management within enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality principles, and data lifecycle management.

Technical Skills
  • Experience performing data profiling to assess completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, and validity of enterprise data.
  • Proven ability to execute data cleansing, standardization, deduplication, and validation activities using established data quality methodologies.
  • Experience developing and maintaining data mapping documents, data conversion templates, validation templates, reconciliation reports, and data quality scorecards.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar) to automate data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience creating automated validation routines to compare source and target datasets and identify data quality issues.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling concepts.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Experience developing interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Ability to analyze data quality metrics and communicate findings through executive dashboards and technical reports.
  • Experience creating KPIs and visualizations to monitor data quality, migration progress, and operational performance.

Integration & APIs
  • Experience working with MuleSoft for API-led integrations and enterprise data exchange.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience supporting API testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with integrating cloud applications, including CRM platforms such as Salesforce, using APIs.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Salesforce CRM implementations, migrations, or data quality initiatives.
  • Experience with ETL/data integration tools and enterprise data migration projects.
  • Familiarity with data quality platforms such as Cloudingo, DemandTools, Informatica, Talend, or similar solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, provider, payer, or regulated industry data is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data profiling and quality assessments to identify gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and validation issues.
  • Design and execute data cleansing and transformation activities to improve data quality.
  • Develop scripts and automated processes for data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and exception reporting.
