About the Role

Shermco Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Billing Administrator to support our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan operations. Reporting to the Regional Billing Lead - Canada, this role plays an important part in supporting day-to-day business operations through accurate invoicing, organized documentation, and professional administrative support.

The Billing Administrator will work closely with Project Managers, internal teams, and customers to ensure billing information is accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and brings strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to their work.

Responsibilities

Billing and Invoicing

  • Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices, billing summaries, and supporting documentation accurately and on time.
  • Collect, verify, and organize billing information from Project Managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Review billing details for completeness and accuracy before invoices are submitted.
  • Maintain accurate billing records to support reporting, audits, internal reviews, and customer inquiries.
  • Assist with resolving billing discrepancies by gathering information and working with the appropriate internal teams.

Customer and Internal Support

  • Act as a key point of contact for customer billing inquiries.
  • Respond to billing questions in a professional, timely, and customer-focused manner.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and internal departments to confirm billing details, clarify information, and support accurate invoice processing.
  • Provide support related to account inquiries, invoice follow-up, and documentation requests.
  • Build positive working relationships with both internal teams and external customers.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for billing and administrative records.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, forms, and other administrative documents as required.
  • Perform general administrative duties including data entry, document preparation, scanning, filing, and record maintenance.
  • Support business administration, project coordination, and office support activities as assigned.
  • Help ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and easily accessible for internal teams.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Office Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • A combination of education and relevant billing, administrative, or customer service experience will be considered.
  • Previous experience with invoicing, billing support, customer service, or administrative coordination is preferred.
  • Experience in a service, construction, industrial, utilities, or manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems, including Business Central or Navision, is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
