Clearance: TS/SCI Poly **This position is CONTINGENT upon contract award** The Storage Engineer (STE) designs, implements, manages, and troubleshoots storage area networks (SANs) and CGS storage systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability. The STE demonstrates experience with Brocade, NetApp, Dell, and Hitachi storage solutions, as well as storage protocols (NFS, SMB, FC, FCoE, S3, iSCSI for NAS/SAN), controller/disk upgrades, SAN fabric design, and disaster recovery. The STE uses PowerShell, Python, or Ansible to automate storage operations and management tasks. As part of the P&O Team, the STE works closely with the Sponsor and Mission Partner/Tenants to optimize storage performance, integration, and Capacity planning. The STE provides Tier 2/3 support for storage-related issues, performs root cause analysis, and implements preventive measures.
