The Role

 The VP of Commercial Excellence will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that optimize commercial performance, drive revenue growth, and improve sales processes. This role will lead a team focused on commercial process design and improvement, communities, and best practices amplification across the organization. 

The Main Responsibilities
  • Design and execute comprehensive sales and customer success processes, communities, and best practices at scale across all segments of the Accelerate and Growth Team. 
  • Support Revenue Operations (RevOps) initiatives by partnering with cross-functional teams to improve processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Deals Desk to facilitate deal reviews, approvals, and exception management while ensuring compliance with company policies and pricing guidelines.
  • Assist in managing the Quote-to-Contract (QTC) process, ensuring a seamless transition from quote creation through contract execution and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain insights and analytics to support business decision-making, identify trends, measure performance, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Analyze operational data and generate reporting to provide actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Create orchestration models to deliver on commercial strategy across Sales, Specialists, Sales Engineers, Customer Success, and functional support. 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a sales excellence team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. 
  • Utilize data analytics to measure sales and customer success performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve effectiveness and efficiency. 
  • Recommend onboarding and sales training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. 
  • Build and activate commercial capabilities to support excellence in planning and execution of sales, marketing, market access, patient support, and other functions as required. 
  • Stand up business planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring, reporting, and management capabilities that enable leadership to effectively manage the business and achieve its goals and objectives. 
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and key enabling functions to achieve business performance objectives including CRM/Dashboard, Reporting, Forecasting, Call Planning, and Incentive Compensation. 
  • Partner with Talent Development to deliver a world-class Commercial Training and Employee Development function to ensure a strong and compliant commercial launch and support the ongoing growth and development of the employee base.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$242,838 - $323,783 in all states.
