Job description

Job Title- RF and Verification Test Engineer

Project Location – Dallas Texas – onsite everyday (Local)

Duration- 10+ months contract

Visa- USC/ GC

Video interview followed by maybe 1 onsite

As a Radio Integration and Verification Engineer, you will join the team dynamic and highly experienced team, working to expand our capabilities in unit level radio integration, verification, and test for radio base stations that support multiple radio access technologies, including 5G, 4G/LTE, and GSM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct radio performance characterization according to 3GPP standards
  • Conduct compliance and regulatory testing in partnership with 3rd party test labs in the areas of EMC, Environmental, Reliability, and RF performance
  • Develop automated test procedures using Python
  • Prepare lab environment including both hardware (test equipment) and software components
  • Produce documentation including test specifications and test reports
  • Perform statistical analysis of measurement data
  • Perform troubleshooting to determine root cause of performance issues and test failures
  • Drive continuous improvements of processes and product quality
  • Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders

Key Qualifications 

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. 

  • Minimum education requirement is a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Hands-on expertise with RF lab equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and high-speed oscilloscopes.
  • Understanding of applicable wireless technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G-NR) and industry standards (e.g., 3GPP, FCC)
  • Ability to maintain scripts and software in one or more of these languages: Python, LabVIEW, C#, Matlab
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
