Production Operator
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Aurora, Colorado. In this role, you will operate production equipment used in the fabrication and manufacturing of industrial components and assemblies. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment, and is committed to producing quality work while maintaining a safe workplace. The position supports industrial manufacturing operations serving sectors such as heavy industrial, power, airport, parcel, and food and beverage facilities.
Location: Aurora, CO
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Pay: $21.50 to $23.50 per hour
Essential Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment according to production schedules and specifications.
- Load raw materials and unload finished products from machines safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and production documents.
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met.
- Perform routine machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting during operation.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform minor preventive maintenance tasks.
- Utilize forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Collaborate with production, fabrication, welding, and quality teams to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous machine operation, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial production experience preferred.
- Ability to read measuring tools and interpret production drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely operate production and material-handling equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
