Job description

Role: Controls Design Engineer

Location: Pelzer, SC

Duration: Long term Contract


Job Description:

· The Controls Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of FMS/BMS and data center control systems from pre-sales through commissioning. The role includes developing control schematics, I/O lists, Sequence of Operations (SOO), riser diagrams, and construction drawings.

· The engineer will work with PLC-based controls, system integration, and communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, TCP/IP, and RS-485. The position also involves coordination with electrical, mechanical, vendors, and commissioning teams. Modular experience is preferred.


Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.

· 6–10 years of Controls Engineering experience.

· Experience with FMS/BMS design, integration, testing, and commissioning.

· Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent engineering tools.

· Data center controls experience preferred.

· Modular experience preferred.
