LHH is actively searching for a contract Controller to join the team of a growing retailer for a special project! Qualified candidates should forward resumes to michelle.brewer@lhh.com for immediate consideration!
Requirements:
  • CPA preferred
  • Bachelors Degree (Accounting or Finance)
  • 5+ years of recent leadership experience preferably in retail or manufacturing industries
  • Advanced proficiency using Excel to include macros, pivot tables, v/xlookup
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure completion of accurate and timely account reconciliations monthly; monitor and update the balance sheet reconciliation policy as needed and provide monthly analytics on account movement and variances to CFO for review and approval
  • Review and approve all journal entries, review reserve balances and make recommendations for adjustments, and automate processes where appropriate
  • Manage the general ledger system (NetSuite) and chart of accounts to provide reporting for business leaders to drive and manage decision making process; all changes to NetSuite chart of accounts or structure requires CFO approval
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Reconcile all sales orders to ensure inventory is decremented properly in the WM system and revenue is booked to the correct selling channel, eCommerce, Retail Stores, Rental, Phone, Trade, etc.
