We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Deep Care Physical Therapy in Daytona Beach, Florida. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to contribute to our mission of delivering unparalleled patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients, ensuring they achieve optimal recovery outcomes.

About the Organization

Deep Care Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned private practice that operates several facilities across the United States. Our organization is deeply rooted in a love for physical therapy, merging that passion with evidence-based practice to set a gold standard in patient care. We pride ourselves on fostering strong connections with our patients and the community, emphasizing continuous movement and recovery throughout all stages of healing. Our dedicated team members employ research-driven techniques to restore normal function and enhance their quality of life.

Work Environment

The position is situated in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in sunny Daytona Beach, where our clinical teams collaborate closely to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs. You will work onsite, within a dynamic environment composed of skilled practitioners, fostering both personal and professional growth. With a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, our therapists maintain a manageable caseload while prioritizing work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your role will encompass various duties that contribute positively to patient outcomes and team success, including:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine appropriate treatment methods.
  • Designing and implementing individualized treatment programs across diverse specializations, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, actively listening to patient concerns, and adapting care to meet their needs.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient recovery using evidence-based practices and state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Administering skilled therapeutic services in both the clinic and patient homes, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
  • Providing education and training to patients and their families about their conditions and self-management strategies.
  • Meeting established utilization goals and actively contributing to organizational performance metrics.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will span a broad spectrum of patient demographics, encompassing children, adolescents, adults, and seniors facing various physical challenges. This diverse range of clients will allow you to apply your clinical expertise in tailored treatments effectively and to witness the profound impact of your work on their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information simply and effectively.
  • Proficient computer skills tailored for clinical documentation and patient communication.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years in a clinical environment as a physical therapist is required, experience in specialized areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, or sports therapy will be highly regarded. Successful candidates will demonstrate a history of achieving high patient satisfaction scores and maintaining strong relationships with their clientele.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Performance-based incentives that reward your contributions to patient care and satisfaction.
  • Comprehensive health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
• A 401(k) retirement plan with profit-sharing options to help you save for the future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) policy that includes accruing sick leave.
  • Reimbursement for local and national professional organization dues and licensing renewal fees.
  • Discounts on various products and services that improve your quality of life.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Deep Care Physical Therapy, we prioritize professional development, encouraging our therapists to pursue continuing education, specialized certifications, or leadership training that align with personal career goals. Opportunities for growth include potential advancement into supervisory or managerial roles within our expanding organization.
