Software EngineerLocation: Arlington, VA (Hybrid)Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance, as required by federal contract.Summary:The Software Engineer will support DHS CISA by designing, developing, and maintaining secure applications that enable mission-critical operations and modernization. This role contributes to Agile and DevSecOps environments to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain software using Java, Python, C++, or C#.Apply secure coding practices and implement automated testing frameworks.Participate in Agile sprints and CI/CD pipelines within DevSecOps environments.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.Collaborate with system architects, developers, and analysts to align solutions with mission requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure Gov) and CI/CD pipelines.Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
