Naval Medical Center San Diego - San Diego, CA
Compass Government Solutions is currently recruiting qualified Medical Administration Specialists to provide administrative and contract support services for the Medical Logistics Department at Naval Medical Center San Diego in San Diego, California. This position supports medical logistics operations, acquisition support activities, contract tracking, reporting, and medical administrative functions in a military medical center environment.
Work Schedule
Services shall be provided Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0600-1700, based on department needs. Shifts will be scheduled for 8-hour periods, not including an uncompensated 30-minute lunch break.

Job Duties:
  • Provide contract administrative support to the Medical Logistics Department
  • Develop, manage, and maintain tracking systems for service contracts, including periods of performance, option years, and contract milestones
  • Assist government personnel with acquisition package preparation and Performance Work Statement (PWS) development
  • Prepare documents for routing, review, and signature by authorized government personnel
  • Prepare presentations and reports supporting Command Acquisition Meetings and other leadership briefings
  • Present contract status information during official meetings as directed
  • Perform duties in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and avoid inherently governmental functions
  • Perform administrative support functions within the scope of the Performance Work Statement
  • Monitor healthcare delivery plans, patient demand, access-to-care compliance, and issues impacting Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) operations
  • Prepare project papers, reports, presentations, and medical administrative correspondence for senior MTF leadership
  • Conduct studies and support projects, programs, and initiatives related to military healthcare activities
  • Support implementation of MTF initiatives to improve operational effectiveness, efficiency, productivity, customer satisfaction, and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications
Degree
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred but not required

Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative support, office management, or contract administration

Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including:
    • Word
    • Excel
    • PowerPoint
  • Ability to create documents, manage spreadsheets, prepare presentations, and maintain administrative records

Citizenship/Security:
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to access requirements for U.S. Government computer systems and networks.
