Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Toledo, OH
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x10 Days (0630-1700 or 0730-1800; call required)
Pay: $2,828/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment supporting cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and structural heart procedures. The technologist will assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cases and must be STEMI-ready with advanced device experience. Call coverage is required, and candidates with EP experience may float to EP when cath and IR volumes are low.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Support STEMI and PCI cases
  • Assist with angiograms, angioplasty, and stent placement
  • Support paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures
  • Perform IV starts and EKG lead placement
  • Assist with IABP and Impella cases
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms and equipment
  • Float to EP lab when qualified and needed
  • Document cases in Epic EMR

Qualifications
  • ARRT certification required at submission (hard requirement)
  • Ohio Department of Health license required
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience required
  • Experience in STEMI/PCI facility required
  • IABP and Impella experience required
  • Interventional and diagnostic cath experience required
  • EP lab experience preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Must live outside 50-mile local radius
