Contract Administrator III

$120,000

Position Description:

  • Coordinate with on-site project management teams to develop and prepare procurement packages for Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects
  • Manage the bidding/selection process for any of the above procurement types, from preparing the procurement packages through award and contract execution 
  • Strict adherence to policies, procedures, templates, and applicable laws x
  • Reporting, tracking, and quality control for assigned procurements processes x
  • Responsibility for multiple x concurrent procurement processes
  • Work is currently primarily remote however when deemed safe to return, work at the project’s central office is expected on a daily basis Minimum Required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or another applicable field x
  • 5+ years experience working with construction related public procurement
  • Knowledgeable of California Public Contract Code and Education Code x
  • Experience with alternate project delivery methods such as Design-Build x
  • Knowledgeable of standard construction contract terms and conditions x
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat x Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal x
  • Ability to accurately track and report status when managing concurrently running projects
