Job Title: Supply Chain Buyer/Material Coordinator

Location: 3728 Arapaho Rd Addison, TX 75001

Engagement: Fulltime- Direct Hire

About the Job
  • The Supply Chain Buyer/Material Coordinator role will work closely with the Sr Director Supply Chain and Head of Operations and Quality. The day-to-day activities will vary giving you an opportunity to grow and experience the front end buying of HVAC materials to working with our Contract Manufacturer on the production of the completed products.
  • This role is responsible for detailed data management and receiving of materials to make sure that manufacturing has the materials needed per the forecasted schedule. This is a new position and is an essential part of our growing team.
Supply Chain Buyer/Material Coordinator responsibilities
  • PO creation and management, based on quotes approved by the Sr Director Supply Chain
  • PO receipt confirmation and ESD verification with supplier On Time delivery reporting
  • Supplier KPI management and reviews with support of Sr Director Supply Chain
  • Paper documentation retention (BOLs, Packing list, MSA/MNDA filing, PO copies, etc)
  • Indirect Purchases & supplier negotiations (o ice supplies, printer issues, snacks, etc.)
  • In person material receiving, transactions in Netsuite and reporting
  • Coordination with third party contract manufacturers (CMs) on Inventory updates (raw, WIP, FG, sale)
  • Managing NCR’s with coordination from Head of Ops and suppliers or CM as needed
  • Supplier Quality Visits/Documentation
  • Sample pulling for engineering and associated system transactions
  • Coordination of material reworking between Engineering, Ops & CM
  • Sales Order logistics management (unit, wall integration, door)
  • Track/tracing of shipments provided to sales Other logistics material coordination (events, Eng testing, inventory transfers, etc)
  • At the request of Sr Director Supply Chain or Head of Ops complete cycle counts to validate NS data Data Entry in NS, new part creation, pricing updates, etc
Education and Qualification
  • Has a Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in transacting in inventory/order management systems (ERP, preferably Netsuite)
  • Can be counted on, is a relationship builder and is willing to jump in to help in an agile environment.
  • Has experience negotiating and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
  • Is excited to help manage to KPIs driven around cost reductions and quality control
  • Ability to be flexible as a growing start up we wear many hats and will need to be responsive to the companies ever changing needs.
