Job description

Senior OpenText CMS Developer

Experience: 7+ Years
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid)- Relocation is OK
Type: Contract

 Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior OpenText CMS Developer with strong hands-on experience in OpenText Web CMS / TeamSite and modern front-end development. The candidate will design, develop, integrate, deploy, and support enterprise web applications and digital experiences.

 Must-Have Skills
  • Mandatory: OpenText Web CMS / TeamSite development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with TeamSite, OpenDeploy, and/or LiveSite.
  • Strong experience developing CMS templates, components, workflows, content reuse, and integrations.
  • Angular 15+, TypeScript, and JavaScript/ES6+.
  • Strong HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS/LESS, and responsive design skills.
  • Experience with REST APIs / API integrations.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub and basic CI/CD / DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
 Responsibilities
  • Participate in the complete SDLC, from requirements through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Develop and enhance applications using OpenText TeamSite/Web CMS and Angular.
  • Build reusable CMS templates, components, and workflows.
  • Develop API integrations supporting content delivery and digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and development teams.
  • Follow Git/GitHub branching, code review, and deployment practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
 Preferred
  • Technical SEO implementation within CMS platforms.
  • Experience with scalable/reusable CMS architecture.
  • Exposure to AEM, Sitecore, Optimizely, Drupal, or Acquia.

 

Key Requirement: Candidates must have hands-on OpenText Web CMS / TeamSite development experience. Generic CMS or front-end experience without OpenText/TeamSite will not be considered
