To thrive as a Contract Clojure Developer, you need strong functional programming skills, experience with Clojure and the JVM ecosystem, and a solid understanding of software development principles. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, build tools such as Leiningen, and relevant libraries or frameworks is typically required. Effective communication, problem-solving, and self-management are standout soft skills for remote or contract-based work. These abilities ensure you can deliver high-quality, maintainable code and collaborate efficiently in dynamic development environments.
