Job description

JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: $32.00 – 43.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for CCA and module assemblies.

  • Interprets engineering prints to design processes.

  • Works with design engineering to implement production improvements.

  • Designs, procures, and implements tooling to support manufacturing processes.

  • May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.

  • Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency.

  • Investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

  • Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

  • Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and specifications.

  • Understands circuit card assembly process.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Experience designing manufacturing processes and production layouts for circuit card assemblies and module assemblies.

  • Ability to interpret engineering prints to design processes.

  • Experience designing, procuring, and implementing tooling for manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plan.

  • Experience inspecting machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency.

  • Knowledge of initiating corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

  • Knowledge of compliance with regulations and specifications for processes and procedures.

  • Preferred: Cable harness experience.

  • Preferred: Electromechanical subassembly experience and process writing.
