Job description

Hiring for Embedded Software Engineer 3 @ Chandler, AZ for a contract position on W2

Job Description

Build the Software That Powers Real-Time Systems
Join a collaborative engineering team where your code directly shapes how mission-critical embedded systems perform in real time. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to grow across the full software lifecycle, from initial requirements through final integration and test.
What You'll Do:
- Shape systems from the ground up: Contribute to requirements development, architecture, and detailed design for real-time embedded software, giving you visibility into how a system comes together end to end.
- Own your code: Write, unit test, and integrate software, then see it through system-level test, building deep technical ownership over what you build.
- Champion quality: Ensure software meets established standards, sharpening your engineering discipline and attention to detail.
- Collaborate across disciplines: Work side by side with engineers from other specialties, expanding your perspective and building skills that go beyond just writing code.
Why This Role:
This position offers a clear path to grow as an engineer. You'll work across the entire software development lifecycle rather than being siloed into a single phase, which means faster skill development and broader technical exposure. The multi-discipline team environment also means you'll learn from engineers in adjacent fields, accelerating your growth beyond what a single-discipline role could offer.
If you're looking to deepen your embedded software expertise while making a tangible impact on real-time systems, this role gives you the runway to do it.
