Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented B2B associate attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing legal guidance and support to our business clients in various B2B transactions and will ensure legal compliance, negotiate contracts, and provide strategic advice. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, and Florida Bar licensure is required. Utah Bar license is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Analyze legal documents, contracts, and agreements to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise on solutions.
  • Communicate with associates, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently.
  • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure the information is up to date.
  • Negotiate cases to meet the needs of the company.
  • Stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices to provide accurate and timely legal advice.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
  • Assist in dispute resolution and litigation matters if necessary.

Requirements

  • Must possess degree from a U.S. accredited law school.
  • Admission to Florida state bar required (must be in good standing).
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Detail oriented when preparing filings and support letters
  • Must be able to manage a large caseload, handling assignments from various departments.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Will report directly to a partner or senior associate, while working alongside other associates, paralegals, and staff
  • Has worked in Miami-Dade system.

Preferred:

  • Active Utah Bar license, or anticipates admission within the coming months.
