Job description

Sustainable Talent is partnering with NVIDIA, a global leader that has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years to hire a QA Engineer for an immediate need on their gaming team.

This is a 6-month W-2 contract role, fully onsite in Redmond, WA (no remote work and no relocation assistance provided). We offer competitive pay, full benefits, PTO, and an outstanding company culture.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Execute testing and validation activities across PC and cloud gaming platforms
  • Perform system-level testing on Windows-based hardware and software environments
  • Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and document defects with clear and detailed bug reports
  • Analyze logs, system behavior, and test results to support root-cause investigations
  • Validate software, drivers, firmware, and platform functionality
  • Review test plans and contribute to test automation efforts where applicable
  • Create and distribute test reports to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product quality and user experience
What We Need to See
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of experience in QA, validation, testing, or a related engineering role
  • Strong experience working within Windows operating system environments
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues at the system level
  • Experience testing device drivers, firmware, or platform-level functionality
  • Proficiency with scripting or automation using Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate complex technical issues
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Passion for product quality and finding hard-to-reproduce issues
  • Experience with Windows debugging tools and log analysis (WinDbg)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with hardware validation, platform testing, or PC system integration
  • Knowledge of GPU technologies, graphics systems, or gaming platforms
  • Experience supporting automation frameworks and test infrastructure
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development, debugging, or test workflows
Engagement Overview

Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite 5 days per week)

Duration: 6-month W-2 contract through Sustainable Talent

Pay Rate: $55–$75/hour, depending on experience, education, skills, and location
