Summary
Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walls, double Ts, columns, or beams using a variety of hand and power tools.
Primary responsibilities
- Rub cement in with sponge-rubber float or burlap.
- Finish corners by hand
- Patch holes/cracks on concrete walls
- Remove/Clean excess concrete from the walls
- Use grinders on blemishes
- Drill or Core Drill holes as needed
- Clean all hardware
- Cut concrete as indicated on repair orders
- Climb stacks of walls and TTs
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The ability to lift, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
- Be on Feet 8 to 12 hours shifts
- Work outside all day in heat or cold
- Push and Pull 30 lbs.
- Work overtime and mandatory Saturdays when scheduled
- Must be clean shaven in order to where aface mask or respiratory
- Pass Fit Test (mask fits properly & protects adequately) & Pulmonary Function Test (evaluate function of lungs)
