Microbiology/Contamination Control(Remote)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and sample batch records and related documentation for potential microbiological contamination issues.
  • Identify trends, gaps, anomalies, and potential contamination risks.
  • Apply strong microbiology and contamination-control expertise to assess findings.
  • Document observations and support appropriate follow-up and escalation.
  • Collaborate with site Quality and Manufacturing teams as needed.

Ideal Background

  • 8-10 years of strong experience in Microbiology, Contamination Control, and/or Quality within a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience reviewing batch records and investigating contamination or microbiological issues.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.

Location/Duration

  • Hybrid engagement supporting sites in WI and MN
  • Initial onsite kickoff and approximately 1 2 weeks of onsite training, followed primarily by remote work.
  • Onsite presence required periodically for key activities, meetings, or other important events.
  • Travel expenses covered.
  • 6-month contract
