Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

This role focuses on safely and efficiently operating production equipment, including grid ovens, washers, conveyor systems, and tube benders, to assemble high-quality evaporators in accordance with engineering standards and operating manuals.

Pay is $31 an hour and Shift Premium of a $1

Only need mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

  • Operate the grid oven, washer, conveyor conveying equipment, and tube bender strictly within the parameters defined by the operating manuals.
  • Use various fixtures and hand tools to assemble partitions and evaporators according to established procedures.
  • Inspect evaporators during and after assembly to identify defects or issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Produce evaporators in line with established safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Interpret and apply instructions from engineering drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and assembly requirements.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Handle, lift, and move tools, parts, and materials using prescribed methods to maintain a safe and organized work area.
  • Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any issues or irregularities to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station and equipment to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including the proper use of tools, fixtures, and equipment.
