The team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale the network simulation platform. In this role, you will design and develop backend services that power the creation, deployment, orchestration, and management of complex virtual network topologies used by network engineers around the world. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, virtualization, cloud-native technologies, and networking to deliver scalable and reliable services that enable customers to model real-world enterprise and data center environments.

As part of a highly collaborative engineering team, you will partner closely with frontend engineers, QA teams, architects, and product stakeholders to deliver innovative capabilities that improve platform performance, scalability, and user experience.

Backend Services & Platform Development

Design, develop, and maintain core backend services that orchestrate virtualized network environments and simulation workloads.

Build highly scalable APIs that enable users to create, configure, deploy, and manage complex network topologies.

Implement microservices and cloud-native architectures that support future platform growth and extensibility.

Develop services that manage lifecycle operations for virtual machines, containers, and networking resources.

Virtualization & Infrastructure

Integrate with virtualization technologies including QEMU, Libvirt, Docker, and Kubernetes to support large-scale network simulations.

Optimize system resource utilization including CPU, memory, and storage across distributed simulation environments.

Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks at the operating system, application, and infrastructure layers.

Networking & Automation
