Job Title: Software Engineer II
Location: Hamilton Township, NJ
Work Model: Hybrid work model
Purpose and Objective:
Sparta Systems, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer II at our Hamilton Township, NJ location to build high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications with a focus on new application development and integrated solutions.

Responsibilities
Expectations and Tasks:
Designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Sparta Systems. Responsible for software coding, code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing, verification, and validation. Ensures code meets security standards and is performant and scalable. Works with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure code changes are deployed correctly. Responsible for analyzing and providing resolutions to customer support escalations.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field of study, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:
  • MySQL or NoSQL DB design in Dynamo DB;
  • Java, Spring boot, React, Rest API, jQuery, Junit, or Python;
  • Microservices architecture and development;
  • Development of Unit and Integration tests;
  • Git or Jenkins;
  • Troubleshooting customer reported issues; and
  • Software development lifecycle.

Experience must include two (2) years involving each of the following:
  • AWS service integration; and
  • Security and Penetration coding standards.

BASE SALARY RANGE: $130,603 to $144,000 per year.
Travel: N/A.
