Job description

National Network Services: Audio Visual Technician

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Hourly paid weekly $20-$35 per hour based on qualifications, experience and certifications.

Role: This role reports to the project manager and is primarily a field installation role. This individual should have three or more certifications called out below as well as 5 years commercial construction installation experience specifically related to Audio Visual systems.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities as outlined below, and any additional duties as required/assigned by the Project Manager.

  1. Construction
    1. Oversee and actively participate in the installation of Audio-Visual systems related to commercial environments, including education facilities. Some responsibilities include:
      1. Layout and installation of video displays including projectors and screens
      2. Planning, installing and wiring of conference room and classroom control systems.
      3. Installation of sound systems including paging and sound masking.
      4. Turn up and commission of Audio-Visual systems.
      5. Provide post installation training to customers
      6. Managing other technicians for a successful job completion.
      7. Participate in multiple projects at any given time.
      8. Engage throughout the project lifecycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
  1. Company leadership direction
    1. Make recommendations for improvements in the AV business.
    2. Assist with field Employee recommendations for improvement.
    3. Participate in the overall NNSI leadership team.
  2. Some acceptable certifications include
    1. Crestron, Extron, Shure, Dante, BiAmp, Symetrix, Chief, Crown Da-Lite, Epson, Poly, QSC, Tannoy, Whirwind, Lencore.
  3. Other requirements.
    1. Ability to efficiently and effectively work in computer-controlled Audio-Visual environments.
    2. Maintain job material inventory.
    3. Maintain a clean professional appearance, professional integrity, and respect.
