Description

Summary:

Responsible for overall contract administration for the CHRISTUS Health Contract Management System. Manages the Contract Portfolio, which includes various contract types: Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), custom contracts including administrative and professional services, executed by the Legal Department for goods and services. Ensures all executed contracts have required information prior to upload into the Contract Management System. Works closely with Contract Managers, Legal Department, Supply Chain and Procurement Team to ensure all contract requirements are met prior to uploading. Notifies Contract Manager of approaching contract expirations.

Responsibilities:

  • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Active member of the Contract Management Council (CMC) ensuring requests from various businesses across the enterprise meet the standards established by the CMC.
  • Provide guidance and options when not in compliance to ensure integrity of the CMIS is maintained.
  • Receives fully executed contracts with categorization and activation defined per Business Owner in accordance with the CMC guidelines, amendment(s) for existing contracts, and inactivation notices from designated parties from across the enterprise to upload into CMIS.
  • Performs uploads of complaint contracts into the CMIS and communicates completion to Contract Business Owners and when appropriate to Supply Chain Operations.
  • Manages the CMIS's categorization structure, presents new/changes to the CMC prior to implementation in the CMIS.
  • At the direction of the Contract Business Owner, this position will build contract headers for new contracts.
  • Detailed contract lines will be provided in the automated contract feeds or via the defined CMIS upload template.
  • Contract upload data errors and corrected data are the responsibility of the Contract Business Owner to review, resolve and provide corrected data to upload.
  • Works closely with the Supply Chain Data Management Team to ensure operational alignment with other third-party systems (i.e. Optime, Pyxis, POU, etc.) receiving contract information.
  • Based on the data contained in the CMIS provide feedback on data discrepancies, inconsistencies and data standardization opportunities.
  • Manages the report for Contract expiration notices (GPO, local and all others) and distribution of such report in an automated manner.
  • Works with Supply Chain Financial Analysts, Category Sourcing Managers, Legal, and Member Organizations to ensure data used to support contract compliance is accurate and consistent across the system.
  • Pull GPO and non-GPO contract data and format into Infor templates.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience preferred

  • None required

In accordance with the CHRISTUS Health License, Certification and Registration Verification Policy, all Associates are required to obtain the required certifications for their respective positions within the designated time frame.
