The Opportunity:
This position will be in our CACI Enterprise Services , where the individual will work under close supervision to prepare and administer purchase orders for materials in accordance with client requirements, government regulations and procurement policies/procedures.
  • Typically works on purchasing activities valued up to $150,000.
  • May be assigned higher value tasks with oversight from more senior level staff.
  • Must comply with corporate policies, procedures, and underlying Federal, state, and/or local regulations concerning the purchase and/or shipment of goods, materials, and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Review requisition, solicit/evaluate bid, recommend and select supplier for award of purchase orders.
  • Negotiate price, quality, delivery and other terms and conditions.
  • Perform oversight on all awarded purchase orders until delivery/completion of goods/services.
  • Coordinate and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Recruit and maintain responsive suppliers providing high quality products and services at fair and reasonable prices.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and settles damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering change orders.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Typically has a Bachelor's degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent, and 0 to 2 years of related purchasing experience.
  • Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Highly organized with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Attention to details and problem-solving skills.

Desired:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent.
  • Experience in Costpoint and P2P systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and GSA Schedules.
  • Advanced Excel and Word Document skills.
