Job description

Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students. This contract role is designed to provide coverage from now through December as part of an FMLA maternity leave, allowing you to enrich the educational journey of young learners.
In this setting, your expertise will play a vital role in helping children develop communication skills necessary for success in school and beyond. You'll be collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to provide tailored interventions and foster student growth.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license (or eligibility) in Illinois
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary-aged students
  • Knowledge of IEP process and IDEA/Section 504 protocols
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct direct and indirect therapy services to support student IEPs
