Job Title: Asset Manager

Responsibilities

  • Provide lead-level oversight of IT asset lifecycle services supporting the contract in a on-site environment in Washington, DC.
  • Manage the team responsible for delivery, staging, tracking, deployment, license management, and disposal of end-user and infrastructure hardware/software assets.
  • Ensure accurate asset accountability across systems and support readiness for audit and compliance reviews.
  • Drive SLA metrics reporting and process improvements in coordination with customer service delivery, endpoint, and program leadership teams.
  • Lead daily operations for end-to-end lifecycle management of IT assets, including receiving, staging, deployment, relocation, recovery, and disposal.
  • Oversee asset tracking systems and inventory repositories to maintain accurate, current, and auditable records.
  • Implement quality checks for inventory accuracy, data completeness, and lifecycle status updates.
  • Manage license inventory, reconciliation, and usage tracking to optimize license utilization and support audits.
  • Manage staff performance, workload distribution, and operational priorities to meet service expectations.
  • Track and report asset management SLA metrics and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 8 years of related experience managing IT assets, including delivery, staging, tracking, deployment, license management, and disposal.
  • Experience managing teams to ensure accurate tracking, inventory, and lifecycle management of hardware and software assets.
  • Experience with asset tracking systems, auditing processes, and compliance with SLAs.
