Job description

We're hiring a freelance / part-time B2B sales person to build and grow our institutional art sales channel. You'll prospect and close deals with hospitals, healthcare systems, corporate offices, banking facilities, hospitality groups, and interior design firms sourcing large-volume orders for their clients. This is a business-development-heavy role: you'll be opening doors as much as closing them, working from our existing hospital case study as proof of concept to build a broader pipeline. The role is hybrid — some time coordinating with our team, most of it out meeting prospective clients. This is a part-time, temporary engagement to start, with the opportunity to grow into a larger role as the B2B channel scales.

What You'll Do

Identify and qualify prospect institutional buyers — hospitals, healthcare systems, corporate offices, hospitality and senior living groups, and other organizations with art procurement needs

Build relationships with interior design firms to become a go-to art source for their large-volume, multi-property client orders

Further develop current relations with past corporate and hospital clients to bring in additional sales

Build and manage a B2B sales pipeline, from cold outreach through proposal and close

Reference our hospital art consulting project in new business pitches

Aid in developing tailored art proposals and presentations for institutional clients, in partnership with our curatorial/design team

Schedule meetings with facilities managers, design firms, procurement officers, and other decision-makers

Attend site visits and client meetings as needed

Report on pipeline activity, deal status, and revenue against targets

What We're Looking For

Proven B2B sales or business development experience, ideally with institutional, corporate, or design-industry clients

Track record of prospecting and closing deals independently, with minimal oversight

Comfort selling a considered, relationship-driven purchase (not transactional retail sales)

Experience with or strong interest in the art world, interior design, healthcare design, or corporate procurement a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication; polished presence with facilities managers, designers, and executives

Self-directed and comfortable working independently in a freelance/contract capacity

Based in or able to travel within our region for client meetings and site visits

Engagement Details

Type: Freelance / independent contractor, part-time and temporary to start, with opportunity to grow into a larger role with the company as the B2B channel expands

Schedule: Flexible; hybrid — mix of remote work and in-person client meetings

Compensation: [Base retainer/commission structure — to be finalized]
