Job Summary:
Suncap Technology is seeking a Scrum Master for a contract position in Durham, NC. The role involves leading complex IT projects, facilitating Agile methodologies, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive technology initiatives from planning to execution.
Responsibilities:
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years leading complex IT projects/initiatives (Mid – Senior level). Strong technical exposure and experience in web application development.
• Project Management Implementation - Hands on experience running technology initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Effective manager who can actively listen, remain neutral, ensure all voices are heard and ask open ended questions. Ability to triage with key stakeholders, business partners and development team to drive delivery end to end. Go beyond facilitating/coaching.
• Possess superb communication and people-interaction skills, and can collaborate and partner with others within and outside the team.
• Effective facilitator who can actively listen, remain neutral, ensure all voices are heard and ask open ended questions. Ability to triage with key stakeholders, business partners and development team to drive delivery end to end. Go above facilitating.
• Ability to adapt the methodology to the situation (not rigid).
• Strong technical exposure and experience in web application development.
• Servant Leadership mentality and empowers others to do their best work.
• A change agent who advocates for continuous improvement and is Innovative, Analytical and a Strategic Problem solver.
• Agile enthusiast who can mentor others and has a deep knowledge and/or experience with multiple frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.
• Experience with Jira and/or Confluence.
• Use of Metrics to visualize how the team is performing and where they can improve.
