Job description


Duties: Lead the modernization of legacy platforms to modern infrastructure. Design cloud-native architectures, containerize applications, and manage deployments on cloud platforms. Design and implement data pipelines for high-volume data processing, and schedule and manage data processing jobs. Develop and implement workflow automation. Manage the transmission of partner information, points, and offers in the reward system. Oversee security control procedures, including assessments and data governance. Conduct risk classification and application assessments. Identify potential risks and implement defect prevention strategies. Design and review co-branding architecture for credit cards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Application Support, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Automating build and deployment processes within CI/CD pipelines, managing jobs, and troubleshooting build issues using Jenkins; Automating project builds, managing dependencies, and controlling versions using Maven or Gradle. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Designing and developing software applications using Java 5 or later versions; Building enterprise-level applications, including dependency injection and aspect- oriented programming, using the Spring framework; Creating microservices and standalone applications with Spring Boot; Deploying and managing containerized applications using Amazon ECS; Orchestrating containerized applications using Amazon EKS; Developing server-less applications and functions for event-driven computing using AWS Lambda; Managing and storing data and data life cycle policies using Amazon S3; Setting up, managing, and optimizing relational databases using Amazon RDS; Processing data for big data analytics using Amazon EMR; Designing, scheduling, and managing complex data workflows using Apache Airflow; Developing scripts and applications for automation and data processing using Python.
